With an average of three sightings per week during winter, Húsafell is one of Iceland’s best spots for watching the Northern Lights. The high, snowy domes of nearby Langjökull glacier ensure cold, crisp, cloudless skies - perfect weather conditions for the Aurora Borealis.

We had an amazing time at Husafell. Beautiful location with so much to do- hikes, relaxing in geothermal baths, short trips to the caves and glacier... we couldn't do it all in 2 days.

High quality does not begin to cover this place. We had the most fabulous trip to Hotel Húsafell whilst we were in Iceland. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and the owner should be incredibly proud of its staff as the service we received was absolutely impeccable.
